Meta’s idea of creating an AR/VR world in Metaverse has succeeded in attracting various fashion brands to join. After Nike reportedly prepared some new trademarks for its virtual products, Adidas immediately stepped on the gas by releasing the NFT collection on December 12, yesterday.
Adidas NFT debut in the Metaverse resulted from a collaboration with the Bored Ape Yacht Club, gmoney, and PUNKS Comic. Reportedly each NFT is priced at 0.2 ETH or around $812. If converted to rupiah, the price is equivalent to Rp. 11.1 million. And uniquely, as many as 30,000 NFTs were sold immediately on sales which generated a total of 23 million US dollars or more than Rp. 330 billion.
Advantages of buying NFT Adidas
The NFT released by Adidas is considered to provide its owner with many benefits. For example, Adidas Originals Proof of Attendance Protocol (POAP) NFT line will give owners access to exclusive content in The Sandbox. Of course, this news is very encouraging because The Sandbox is a game loved by money lovers who want to make crypto money.
Adidas NFT owners will also have access to a range of virtual outfits that avatars can wear around Adidas grounds inside The Sandbox, with all digital assets secured by Coinbase. Even more interesting, Adidas will provide appropriate clothing for NFT owners. They can wear the hoodie, tracksuit, and orange beanie that the gmoney crypto monkey avatar wears.
Additionally, Adidas will sponsor the next issue of PUNKS Comics, combining Adidas-gmoney’s Indigo Herz -NFT Ape Bored and Courtney’s CryptoPunk in Adidas sportswear and sneakers.
