Ali (Groovin) shared their second single alongside its cinematic MV of “Downtown Strut”. This independent funky trio retracks the map of garage funk which streams beneath the ballet of their iconic mid-eastern disco tunes. John, Arswandaru and Kevin officially shared this music video of “Downtown Strut” via Ali’s official platform, last Tuesday (02/06/22).
As they stay on their track for their following release of Dance Habibi, this trio makes it clear that they’re the prince of the dance floor. A mix-sounds of rockish dance-beat, let this single beat over its guitar play by Kevin Septanto. Somehow, on the edge of its verse, the energetic kick of John Paul Patton (drum) goes along the way with the rhythmic beat and on-point Arabic lyric by Arswandaru.
This hypnotic dancing track by Ali is geared up with the help of Yosaviano Santoso, Viki Vikantara of KPR (mixing engineer) and Moko Aguswan (mastering engineer). Another superb element of this release, is a cinematic play out by an international photographer, Michael Tartaglia.
