There’s nothing new under the sun and so be itβ€” Balenciaga drops its pre-distressed sneakers for $1,850. This pair of sneakers are actually a part of Balenciaga’s new Paris sneakers campaign. It’s the exaggerated version which presses over the worn-out look and extremely destroyed shoes.Β

Reportedly, this running campaign speaks for a life-time products which suggest that Balenciaga’s sneakers β€œare meant to be worn for a lifetime”. To clear up, this viral-dizzy campaign sells out the original Paris β€œfully destroyed” pairs for a staggering number of $1,850. Even though, the fact is, Balenciaga is selling a line of DIY-yellowed sneakers which go under $700. A high-top canvas look is set for $625 and $495 for the mule version.Β Β

This whole break-into-pieces crusade triggers a globe band of badmouthing over this fake campaign style. Knowing that the β€œFully Destroyed” pieces are limited to only 100 pairs, the internet citizen is getting lashed out.Β

Well, for real, do you think this β€œlawnmower” style of shoes is on top of the edge?
