In this Dish N’ Dash edition calls us back a while to Bali island, with its hundreds of stunning natural spots and diverse range of cultures. Bali is also recognized for various traditional cuisines passed down from generation to generation. Ayam Betutu, Babi Guling, Lawar, Nasi Jinggo, you name it. Some of these dishes are still among our favorites today.
We miss those specific food at times, we currently do surfing on the internet and having some Balinese dishes around this town, and ended up we noticed an authentic Balinese-style restaurant named Cang Jak Ci (You and I: in Bali words), a hidden gem yet not really hidden but still a gem. Located in front of Lenmarc Mall, and is partially hidden by a car dealership directly next to it. If you look closely, you will see a lightbox with the words “Cang Jak Ci” at the entrance.
The restaurant’s vibe feels quite Balinese, ornaments such as murals of Bali’s traditional dance, patterned tables, and colorful chandeliers will bring you a flashback to restaurants you often see in Bali. Plus, some of the menus offered are pretty diverse, ranging from Nasi Campur Babi, Rujak Kuah Pindang, Jukut Ares, Sate Lilit, Ayam Betutu, Nasi Jinggo, including specific Balinese beverages like Es Daluman or Es Kuwut is available here. Yes, we are no longer mistaken.

Its specialty is on the tip of itsΒ Base Genep spices.Β Cang Jak CiΒ sincerely serves its own well-developed recipes in each forte. Our favorites go with Nasi Campur Babi Spesial, the perfect one yet our favorite at once. Just a little hint, the taste is incredibly complex, all of the condiment has a substantial role and is ready to punch your tongue, Balinese kinds of spices called Base Genep feels just perfect. We definitely recommend you this very stand-out menu.

Rujak Kuah Pindang is also an item for those of you who love spiciness, this zesty gravy mixed with fresh fruits would explode your mouth. Aside from the main course, Cang Jak Ci also offers an ala carte menu that is no less delicious. Cumi Sune Cekuh is one of them, this menu serves something tasty yet chewy when you swoop on it.
Overall, we’re at a loss for words when it comes towards the food, everything is on point and yummy. We also tried the Es Daluman and Es Kuwut, the freshness given helped to balance out our greasy lunch. Another one, Cang Jak Ci also serves beer, so you can enjoy it in the afternoon while gazing at the sunset. Bring your friends and family since this restaurant is a great place to unwind.
Another thing to mention is that the pricing is reasonable. Also, bear in mind that this location is ideal for any event, such as dinner, lunch, or even brunch. This restaurant is open everyday from 12.00 to 21.00.
