Only within a few hours’ advance notice, Drake shared his 7th studio album, “Honestly, Nevermind” via his instagram. The 14 tracks of house-tech rapps follow up Drake’s 2021 Certified Lover Boy in a new-boost wave of rapp-house, per say. It’s safe to say that this album breaks a new rule of house-trap tech which overwhelmed the whole structure of a song such as, “Falling Back”, “Calling My Name” and “Jimmy Cooks”.
Something obvious about this album is a tiny break of rapping which surely demolished a slight touch of Drake’s recent poems in “Certified Lover Boy”. Though, somehow, “Honestly, Nevermind” might remarkably put a lime of Drake’ passive-aggressive lyrical spot. Have yourself a minute to listen to Drake’s solemn beats in “Honestly, Nevermind”.
