In the ten tracks of wishes, a dynamic duo from Surabaya, Alter, fondly releases its first ever album, “Dua Doa”. After a year of contemplation, Alter finally gets the hang of the poetry beneath the 40 minutes of claustrum-romance. This following breakthrough by Alter is continuing its relentless notion after releasing the opening bloom of this album, “Mengubut Niat” and “Bahasa Surga” a couple months ago.
It’s a path of growth and acceptance walked down by Doli and Haidar as they wrote down a diary of a lifetime. A plate of wishes, we may say, which seemingly pictures the words of blue and affection. In the song of “Waktu Biru”, “Rasa Dosa” or “Di Antara”, Alter bluntly pours the gloom and joy blending over to its genuine and cagey lyrics. Up beat, but poetic. Each song speaks for its expression, let alone its catchy beats which may romantically trap you in a moment.

Alter’s following bloom of “Bahasa Surga” and Mengubur Niat” may have you in a hook for drowning to “Dua Doa” album, eventually. “Ekspektasi seringkali membuat kita kecewa, tetapi melalui doa kita bisa berkata dan berharap semua akan baik-baik saja”, added by Doli and Haidar.
Nothing more can be described about this album. Let’s hear this feast of wishes via Alter’s spotify
