Our local experimental duo, Gabber Modus Operandi, announced a three-month European tour kicking off this weekend.
An Instagram post from the duo showed a list of tour dates spanning nearly three months. The tour is at large begins in Athens, Greece on April 9 and wraps up in Amsterdam, Netherlands on June 24.
Gabber Modus Operandi will play at the Alter Festival in Denmark late in April as part of its upcoming tour. Fellow Indonesian experimentalists Senyawa will also tone up at the festival. Gabber Modus Operandi will also perform at Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona.
Gabber Modus Operandi launched a reissue of their 2018 debut album βPUXXXIMAXXXβ in March. Previous to that, they launched their sophomore album βHoxxxyaβ in 2019.
In February, Gabber Modus Operandi shared a remix of Senyawaβs βLure Akhir Zamanβ as a part of the latterβs βAlkisah Dikisahkanβ remix album.
