This March is a big month for Greedy Dust after striking a massive showcase all across cities. To be noted, Semarang, Yogyakarta & Surabaya made it each extravagance in a wide range of creative disciplines. Recently, Greedy Dust made a slight-poignant change in its core logo pushing them away to explore more about Hardcore-punk. “Show No Mercy” is a manifestation that took place in Surabaya. Inviting in total 4 collaborators from Surabaya, Greedy Dust initiates a collaborative event which reactivates an exhibition of zine, cassette and photography. Plus, there was one exceptional art performance by Bajra.id.
There was so much in the book for Greedy Dust taking a giant step to embrace all the community involved. Started off from Semarang and ended up in Surabaya, Greedy Dust arguably took a serious interest in activating the art local-scenery. After making a breakthrough for releasing an eclectic-custom bike, Greedy Dust jumps off to Surabaya. Show No Mercy was a big stage for some local emerging artists and communities such as Maldoror Manifesto, Labskull, Klab137 and Unicorn Subsel as the host.
A curatorial tour started on 23th March and continued with a series of gathering, discussion sections and workshops. Not stopping right there, a friendly competition (zine, photography & cassette) was held to appreciate the spark of art scenery. To close out this tour, Greedy Dust called all the talent to strike with a gig inviting some local names such as, decemberism, ENOLA, drizzly, Eastcape, Sugar Thrills, TIMELESS and VICE VERSA.
Well, this can happen without the support from all of you who made it there. For, Greedy Dust we can’t wait for the next dance!
