A fashion brand from Bandung, Greenlight, collaborates with designer Ican Harem to introduce a collection of Indonesian urban street-themed clothing at Paris Fashion Show. This event is not affiliated with FHCM as known as Paris Fashion Week.
This collection was featured in Gekrafs Paris Fashion Show during Paris Fashion Week 2022 held on March 6, 2022 at The Westin Paris Vendome.
The National Creative Economy Movement (Gekrafs) brought ten local brands to perform in Paris, including Greenlight x Ican Harem.
The collection is entitled βTraffic Tribeβ. βI imagine there are βtribesβ born from red lights or traffic lights in urban areas of Indonesia,β said Ican during a virtual press conference.
Ican said the βTraffic Tribeβ collection was inspired by the bustling atmosphere of traffic jams and streets often filled with hawkers and buskers who like to sing Noah’s song βMimpi yang sempurnaβ.
βIβm looking forward to presenting it in Paris. For sure, this collection will never be seen anywhere and anytime, only at Paris Fashion Weekβ, said Ican.
He said the collection would consist of several types of clothing such as jackets, suits, pants, tops to bottoms, and several accessories with ten looks.
