Located in a housing complex in Manyar Kertoarjo area, East Surabaya, Patera is a coffee shop that is quite unique among other coffee shops in the city. Compared to other coffee shops which are usually located in the center of the bustling city of Surabaya, Patera chooses a quieter area that fits to its calm ambience.
The residential area which Patera is located in has a quite number of intersections. Therefore, you have to be extra careful and pay close attention to the direction of the road. If you take the wrong path, then you have to go back a fairly far distance. Even so, you do not need to worry because Patera provides many signs at several points in the housing complex to direct and prevent visitors from getting lost on their way to Patera.
The ambience there is very suitable for those of you who are looking for a calm and quiet place to work or just want to be away from the city crowd. Patera serves quite a variety of menu, including coffee mocktails, non-coffee and coffee based drinks. While you are here, you should try some of their coffee mocktails because the taste is totally unique and rarely found in Surabaya.

Patera has just renovated its small cafe and rearranged their interior to be more comfortable. FOTO AUTENTICA is a photo booth that was recently launched by Patera to provide a new experience for you who want to capture moments of togetherness with friends and colleagues in the form of photos. Being in a small room, you only need to pay a ticket for IDR 25,000.00 at the cashier to get a 10-minute photo experience. There are lots of photo frames and effects to choose from. The photos can be sent to you by email or directly printed to be taken home.
In addition to a photo booth, Patera also opened a small studio called Studio 9Nol1, a multifunctional studio that can be used for art exhibitions and photo studio. The first event held at this studio is called SWANTATRA: Vol 1 which is an art exhibition in collaboration with Study 901, Kalakolektiva, and other collaborators. Of course there will be more art exhibitions and other events held in this studio in the near future.
