Another great mind of our time had passed away. Jeremiah Green, Modest Mouse drummer died at 45. This orbituary has been delivered by Issac Brock via the band’s Instagram page on New Year’s Eve. The news was confirmed after recent social posts from his friend posting Green’s undergoing therapy. He was diagnosed with stage four cancer.Β

Green was born in 1977, in Hawaii and grew up in Moxee, Washington. From the very first day, Jermiah Green immersed himself in the local music scene side by side with Eric Judy forming Modest Mouse in 1992. His progression of surreal drum play took him into a loop of his distinctive play recorded in sort of amusing albums, β€œWe Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank” and β€œGood News For People Who Love Bad News”.
