Despite the fuzzy words about PFW, Jewel Rocks and Sean Sheila make their way up to the real showroom ofParis Fashion Week 2022 for accepting an official invitation from L’Adresse Paris Agency. As the representation from Indonesia, these two local brands are also listed in “Showroom for Indonesian Designers” as the part of PFW 2022.
As we see, the mixed up words about Paris Fashion Week is all over the internet. The widespread misinterpreting situation leads on the assumption of who is the real one who steps in PFW 2022. As the matter of fact, it’s arguably said that not a single of our local brands steps into this extravagance. Nevertheless, Jewel Rocks and Sean Sheila are officially invited by L’Adresse Paris Agency to participate in showroom as the “part” of Paris Fashion Week. Let’s get to know a little about these two brands.
Jewel Rock is a jewel studio based in Seminyak Bali. Have been crafting since 2006, Jewel Rock is the hand-made jewelry design house which richly manufactured its goods with the unique piece of gems. Keeping the hand crafting, Jewel Rocks traditionally make their goods with the help of local-craftwomen. With all this exclusivity, Jewel Rocks limit the sessional article for each edition.
Sean Sheila, the second brand in the dialogue is an independent fashion studio created by Sean Loh and Sheila Agatha. Established in 2012, Sean Sheila has been dedicating the center of their work upon women empowering. Their speciality in dramatic silhouette applied on the high quality fabrics open up their way in for a number of related Fashion Week. Since 2017, Sean Sheila has been consistently participating in particular exhibitions as part of Paris Fashion Week.
