Marching Forward, a musical performance by Studioland, a Tangerang-based creative working space, will respond to the Workshopiknik architectural building as part of the continuous series of Bintaro Design District activities.
Studioland was founded during the pandemic by Kandank Jurank and Tiny Studio as a melting pot for interdisciplinary ideas for young creatives such as Visula Project and The Store Front to musical ensembles such as Avhath, Rekah, and Bedchamber.
Marching Forward will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 3:30 PM at Workshopiknik, Kandank Jurank, South Tangerang, and will feature performances by Glyph Talk, Rekah, Ministry Of, and a DJ set by Kolibri Selekts. Each band will not only perform likely, yet will also deliver a special performance, such as Rekah, who will attempt an electronic set for the first time. The presentation will also feature animated images created by the animation firm Auratium.
In addition to music performances, Kandank Jurank Design Week events include zine-making workshops with Tiny Studio and art exhibitions sponsored by Studioland itself.
