Shredding over the grips, VANS is going to film a new-clip-compilation with the south-asian VANS’s riders, titled “NUSANTARA”. As spotted in Vans Indo official instagram, this film will have its premiere on 17th February 2022. Starring our local-talented riders, Rubianda and Mario Palandeng, this film also features the other hood bouncers from Malaysia and Singapore — Fikri Fauzi (Malaysia), Feroze Rahman & Sharil Effendy (Singapore).
Directed by Mark Adrian Khor, this film is the first Asian-regional Vans Skateboarding film. Highlighting the notion of nature, all the compiled clips are expected to patch the local spot in KL, Jakarta, Bali or Johor. To boost the excitement, this film will round up the soundtrack from each of these countries.
Started as a running fun project, Mark Khor is simply in aim to connect and collaborate with the local riders, picturing their journey of skateboarding in their homeland. Proceeding this collective gesture, VANS is heading the whole team of local skate filmmakers and putting it off in a bowl called “NUSANTARA”.
