OAT’s ‘Goodbyes & Good Times’ Experiences Japanese Contemporary

The brand signature oversized fit is deeply embedded

We’ve enthusiastically covered the previous collections of Surabaya-based brand OAT. The brand has made a statement with a string of collection lined up to bring the brand to the forefront of conversation. Launched their new collection called Goodbyes & Good Times that developed by adopting and amalgamating workwear, military wear, and Japanese contemporary streetwear.

Brought back the japan memories, the collection’s imaginative journey showcases a diverse range of fabrics, such as acrylic, cotton linen, quilted nylon, cotton jacquard, and cotton twill. Within the outerwear assortment, the Liner pieces boast a unique arrangement of four square pockets at the front, enhanced by chenille embroidery adorning the back. Offering a refreshing twist, the Pullover flaunts captivating sunflower crochet accents on the chest, available in both brown and grey hues.

A cherished core memory transports them back to their time in Japan in 2017, where they resided in Tokyo for six months as part of a student exchange program. Blessed with a more lenient class timetable, their days were dedicated to leisurely venturing through clothing stores, immersing themselves in the captivating fabrics, captivating designs, and overall allure of diverse brands. This transformative experience left an indelible mark, profoundly shaping their individual style and the way they approached the art of dressing.

This collection stays true to our signature oversized fit, carefully crafted with precise measurements and flawless proportions, while seamlessly blending elements of workwear, military wear, and contemporary Japanese streetwear. Experience the essence of OAT Spring/Summer 2023 ‘Goodbyes and Good Times’ available now for your sartorial delight.
