It might be a coincidence, but here they’re, joining the stage as the old buddies. Dave Navarro “accidentaly” appeared at Fonda Theater, Los Angeles. It was a charity concert conducted by Navarro under the Above Ground. Playing “Walk on The Wild Side” by Lou Reed, these two buddies were rocking the stage with this ballad song.
Report said that Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighter) and Billy Idol should be running the stage as special guests, but the two of them ended up cancelling. And at the right moment, Anthony Kiedis jumped up for a special performance.
Well, for those who have been enjoying RHCP since their 90s era, Dave Navarro was the initial part of One Hot Minute album in 1995. It’s definitely a big deal, for knowing that their last gig together was in 1997. A year later, Navarro was fired from the band over “creative differences”, though it was his heroin relapse that set the back-fire.
