Singapore Art Week, or SAW, will be back in its 11th edition of the country’s annual festival, is back this year from 6 β 15 January 2023. With more than 130 art events β free and ticketed.Β the ten day celebration will showcase a wide range of artistic talents and disciplines, including visual arts, music, dance, and more. Itβll provide a platform for artists to share their work with the public and connect with other members of the arts community, especially in Southeast Asia.
The event is a joint initiative by the National Arts Council and Singapore Tourism Board, and will showcase new works and transnational collaborations at various locations, including two art fairs and the ongoing Singapore Biennale. ART SG, the largest art fair in Southeast Asia, will make its debut at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, while S.E.A. Focus, a fair dedicated to Southeast Asian contemporary art, will be held at the Tanjong Pagar Distripark.
Be prepared to experience a thrilling selection of art at various locations including museums, galleries, independent art spaces, and not to mention, public spaces, so strolling around the Lion City and also getting inspired by the astonishing art is a must. Additionally, there will be engaging discussions, experiential programs, tours, and trails available for all to enjoy.
