An alternative pop band from Yogyakarta, Skandal just released their new music video for one of their latest maxi-single “Lemon” which came out one and half years ago. Lemon becomes one of most favorite song from Skandal, this song told us about our daily life. In this project Skandal collaborate with Pour Pictures production house and also supported by a Yogyakarta-based brand Starcross.

Directed by Vian Novian Trisna Putra and Ismawadi Utomo who are active in the local skateboarding scene, especially as a filmer/videographer, this video takes a lot of artistic approach influenced by the visual aesthetic of skateboarding videos and presents some vintage vibes to its visuals. “The approach was very it matches the color of Skandal’s music which he thinks is nostalgic and reminds him of music in the early 2000s” – The director said.
