Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr a.k.a Snoop Dogg announced his acquisition over Death Row Record. This Californian-based label has been a gig for Snoop Dogg as the rocket stairs of his career began in 1993 for the release of “Doggystyle”. Paying a handsome sum of money, MNKR Group is reportedly bestowed with a number of 385$ million deals. Initially founded by Suge Knight, Dr. Dre and Michael “Harry O” Harris in 1991, Death Ras has been meriting its status as a cult-centre for its curated music catalog.

By possessing a control over Death Row, Snoop Dogg will be freely able to monetize his works and others that entailed. Say it’s a coincidence or not, but Snoop Dogg has just released his new album, “Bacc On Death Row” or “B.O.D.R”. Bouncing a total 18 tracks, this album is now available to stream starting on 11 February.

As a home where he stepped up the game for the street, Snoop Dogg commented on this joyful moment of his career, “I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value,” the rapper shared in a statement with GQ. “ It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me.”
