According to Business of Fashion, Supreme has named Tremaine Emory as its new Creative Director. Emory began working for the label under James Jebbia, the labelβs founder. Jebbia will oversee all aspects of the corporate world, and Emory will be designing for the brand starting this week.
This moment is the most significant change to the brand since VF Corp, the North Faceβs owners, acquired it. The deal was done back in 2020, in which VF bought Supreme for $2.1 billion.
For those of you who donβt know, Emory is the founder of the Denim Tears label, and he also worked at Marc Jacobs for nine years before finally becoming art director at StΓΌssy. In addition, he is also part of the No Vacancy Inn collective and has developed several collaborating brands such as Converse, Our Legacy, New Balance, Leviβs, Off-White, and many others.
Letβs wait for Emoryβs breakthrough at Supreme.
