Tatsuki Fujimoto Released 1-Shot Manga “Goodbye, Eri”

Chainsaw Man creator released his 12th one-shot published by Viz Media and Manga Plus in english.

Manga author Tatsuki Fujimoto returns and filling the void in the heart of fans while waiting for the part 2 of his famous creation “Chainsaw man” with another one shot manga called “Goodbye, Eri”  This is his second one-shot following “Look Back” that published in July 2021 after the first arc of Chainsaw Man ended.

The 200-page long one-shot drama/slice-of-life Kino manga tells a story about  12 years old Yuta who get asked by his sick mother to record her days until her final days from the lenses of his smartphone. Not long after his mother death, he creates a movie about her mother that not doing well in his screening. Without the motivation to keep going, he then decided to end his life, the choice that only start another chapter in his film-making life.

If you are a big Tatsuki Fujimoto fan then you should read and find his signature panel like cinema seat and aquarium. Another easter egg that he put in this one-shot is multiple blockbuster movie like ‘Call Me by Your Name’ and ‘Matrix’. This is the perfect manga for a person who’s into cinema and film making if you want to start reading Fujimoto’s creation. The reason why is because it’s a one-shot it only took an hour to read, and just a perfect serving of his way to tell stories about the relationship of a fragile main character with his/her manipulative heroine.
