"Figures of Speech" and the counter proposal of black artist community.

For once again, Brooklyn Museum devours a space to re-open the curtains of the genius-mind’s archive, Virgil Abloh. This continuing installments originally taken from Virgil’s work, will remark the strong-arm words β€œFigures of Speech” as the title of this exhibition which will secure the space of Brooklyn Museum from 1st July until 29 January 2023.Β

β€œQuestioning Everything” as he has always been during his lifetime, the visitors will experience Virgil’s inventive language and quotation marks which are engraved over the legible objects he designed. As we all know, Virgil’s literal moves were all condemned in between the lack of space afforded by the black artist community. Foreseeing this ground, β€œFigures of Speech” exhibition may speak the same narrative Virgil left for his own hood.
