Weyes Blood ponders over love and loss of travelling revelation in a single called “Grapevine”. This release is marked as the second track of her upcoming album, “And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow” which is expected to be released in November. This renewed state of Natalie Mering (Weyes Blood) hollow is nurturing a scent of her music for the awaited 10-tracks album.
It’s something fresh yet a sticking old fine by Weyes Blood as she said “Technology is harvesting our attention away from each other. We all have a ‘grapevine’ entwined around our past with unresolved wounds and pain”.
This new album was co-directed by Mering and Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado. Also this upcoming release stains the parallel-trilogy of 2019’s Titanic Rising. “Grapevine” is secondly placed after the opener tracks of “It’s Not Me, It’s Everybody”.
