WTAPS releases the lookbook for its upcoming Spring/Summer 2022 collection, following a collaboration with Champion and ONE ON ONE collection with UNDERCOVER.
As for SS22, WTAPS continues to showcase its military-inspired aesthetic with a range of boxy athleisure pieces that strike a balance between function and simplicity. Some of the apparel highlights include WTAPS branded baseball shirts, mesh overlaid t-shirts, heavy cotton sweatpants with cargo pockets, and striped t-shirts with “WTAPS URBAN TERRITORY” branding.
The collection includes outerwear pieces such as the four-pocket conceal jacket, fisherman vest, and nylon monogram team jackets. A range of accessories including incense sticks, socks, underwear, and a retractable Facehugger hat round out the assortment.
‘Facehugger’
Under the written tagline, ‘Facehugger’ is made using nylon taffeta fabric, a mixture of nylon and taffeta, which is often used for external applications because of its strength and water resistance.

With oversized earmuffs mounted on the main cap offering complete protection. The design is somewhat similar to the Swedish Army Helmet cover with a face shield that covers the wearer’s face and can be removed through the use of Velcro. There is an adjustable switch on the back of the hat to adjust the fit to the head. Lastly, there is the WTAPS woven logo on the front.
